Now that I’m officially a medical student, I feel a moral obligation to say this:

This is not a place to come for medical advice, for two reasons: 1- barely anything here is medically related, and 2- I don’t yet know anything.  I’d also like to say that google and wikipedia are not the place to go for medical advice, either.  Your doctor exists for reasons other than billing you and checking your cholesterol.

I’d also like to say that the opinions expressed here are not necessarily the opinions of the university I attend, or the government body to whom I have sold my soul for at least the next 15 years.

These are my stories, just that – life and sometimes medicine.  And although there are different versions to every story, this is just one version of things.

Nothing more.

I tagged you. Sorry in advance…I know these sorts of things are a bit cheesy.

One Version of Things

I'm a 24 year old gay medical student living on the Gold Coast in Australia. This blog started as a way to blow off steam (ie procrastinate) during the tedious med-entry period, and snowballed into a sort of outlet of self-therapy. It's my way of pulling back to look at the bigger picture. So here it is - the bigger picture. Or one version, anyway. I hope you enjoy it here.
